A labor of love that just keeps giving

Having babies and raising them into hopefully half-way respectable human beings is a real labor of love. And so is carrying them around all day long!
My dear friend (10 bucks if you can guess who that is!) had this lovely baby sling full of memories and also a little green eyed monster on her shoulder every time she saw my "banana shaped" Marrimekko bag that you can fill up really well like a big red balloon at the grocery store. So she gave me the material and was tickled pink at the result! (Mamabird was also tickled that it turned out PERFECTLY!!) I think the whole town has probably seen MamaBird out on her bike with a big red bag full of apples and milk and potatoes and a wallet and ham and all sorts of stuff it probably wasn't really intended to be stuffed with...
Here's how it looks:

You can't see it here, but there is a patch of dark blue on the bottom.

Here is the original (and the source of our ideas):

Oma Elizabeth has a birthday

Mit 66 fängt das Leben an... or so the song goes.
Here's what Oma Elizabeth got for her birthday from MamaBird (and Co.)
She literally jumped for joy when she got it! That makes a MamaBird happy!
She also got a key chain to match, which can be seen on MamaBird's website. I didn't have a change to get a good picture of it before she made off with it.

Who doesn't love Italy?

This is a recent special order from an Italian friend of mine
to give to a bunch of friends of hers! They are phone pouches (Handytaschen).
